PRO-telligent, A TetraTech Company, is seeking an experienced Certified Safety Professional. This position provides safety expertise on the U.S. Government’s New Embassy Compound project in Islamabad, Pakistan. The Safety Professional is responsible for ensuring the Construction Contractor has a sufficient and approved safety program in place and is following the approved safety program. The Safety Professional verifies the safety program is being followed by reviewing logbooks and various other documentation. All findings are reported to the Project Director. In addition, the Safety Professional will be asked to schedule periodic trainings and refresher courses for all personnel working on the project.
MUST BE A US CITIZEN TO BE CONSIDERED
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must possess the following:
- Minimum of a Final Secret clearance.
- 10 years of experience as a Safety Professional on Vertical Construction Projects.
- Associates Degree from a U.S. institution.
- Must be a registered Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
- Must have knowledge of USACE Manual EM385-1-1
- Must have completed 40-hour OSHA Construction Course
- Prior work on overseas projects is preferred but not mandatory.
